Restricted Fire Zone Lifted

Effective 12:01 a.m. on Saturday May 16, 2020, the Province of Ontario has lifted the Restricted Fire Zone in Northern Ontario. At that time, the fire rating will be set to HIGH per Fire Chief Dave McNay.

Under a HIGH fire rating, open air burning and daytime burning are not allowed. Enclosed campfires not exceeding 2 feet/24 inches are permitted for cooking and warmth only.
